Dr. H. Kenneth Shook was a 1954 graduate of the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program at Wesleyan University.

Holy Name Athletic Club (HNAC) was established in 1925 by members of the Polish American community in Stamford, Connecticut. HNAC had strong ties with the local Polish American parish, The Holy Name of Jesus Church. The Club received support from the parish and supported many charitable events at the church. The club organized athletic and social events to promote and to preserve activities and customs of Polonia. Material in the collection illustrates activities and membership in the Club through several decades. It also includes photographs from various sporting and social events.

The collection is comprised of photographs of Yale and Andover, Massachusettes, and their surrounding areas. Included are photographs of the White Mountains. The photographs were collected by Hollon A. Farr (Yale 1896).

Reports written by Chase for USAID programs, particularly focused on crafts practiced by women that can be developed into a source of income within third-world country economies. The collection also includes bibliographies on topics associated with various handicrafts.

The papers consist of letters written by Mary Kingsley to English merchant John Holt and his wife. Among the topics discussed are British government policy in West Africa, treatment of Africans, the behavior of missionaries, the interests of the trading community, and public opinion in England. The letters were written during the period between Kingsley's return from her West African travels and before going to South Africa during the Boer War.

The only record for the town of Bridgewater is one volume on the Hop River section.

The collection contains the deparmtental meeting minutes from 1953 - 1984.

20 separate volumes including diaries, account books and letter books. One pass admitting F.A. Curtiss, brother of Homer Curtiss, to the Fairfax General Hospital where Homer Curtiss was recovering from a battlefield wound.

The collection contains William T. Gresh's personal papers such as discharge document, memoirs, and video of oral history interview about his experience serving as Signaman Second Class in U.S. Navy during World War II.
