This collection consists of printed ephemera produced by Good Vibrations, a feminist sex toy shop founded by sex educator Joani Blank in San Francisco, California in 1977. Materials include booklets and pamphlets for educating customers on various aspects of sexual activities and sexuality, outreach materials for encouraging sex positivity, and promotional items for the store including business cards, fliers with workshop information, and product catalogs. Educational and outreach materials focus on tips and guides for sexual activities as well as customer stories of using products purchased at Good Vibrations. Materials cover from 1986 to 2015, with the bulk from 2000-2015.

Production records for the 1989 Lonesome Dove television miniseries, based on Larry McMurtry's book Lonesome Dove, produced by Dyson Lovell of Motown Productions for CBS Inc., and starring Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones, Danny Glover, Diane Lane, and Frederic Forrest. The records include financial and budgetary files, as well as files on the cast and crew, including headshots of prospective cast members and information on prospective directors, editors, composers, and photographers. The records also include shooting schedules, call sheets, storyboards, scripts, and production reports, as well as Dyson Lovell's production files. Post production files are also included.

John Bonelli, a UCONN graduate, is a political activist and community organizer. In 1989 he ran openly gay for the Hartford City Council as the candidate of the People for Change coalition. For years he worked as an activist and consultant in several organizations related to HIV/AIDS issues and as an intern and volunteer in political campaigns. For years Mr. Bonelli was a statewide co-chairperson of the Connecticut AIDS Action Council. This collection consists of administrative records of the council.

The Jewish Historical Society of Greater New Haven (JHSGNH) is a member organization of the Ethnic Heritage Center at Southern Connecticut State University. Its holdings include more than 300 oral histories focused on New Haven and World War II. This index currently includes oral histories recorded from the late 1980s to mid 2010s mostly on VHS-C and MiniDV. The original recordings on VHS-C and MiniDV have been migrated to VHS tapes and DVDS, respectively, and can be digitized and shared on-demand.
