The collection comprises sample books from primarily American commercial paper manufacturers.

Correspondence, writings, course-related material, and subject files document the work of Norman E. Thomas. Norman E. Thomas is a prominent missiologist, theological educator, and historian of world Christianity. A Yale graduate, he served as a missionary in Africa, missions administrator for the United Methodist Church, Director of the Mission and Evangelism Program and Boston University School of Theology, and Professor of World Christianity at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio prior to his retirement.

This collection is an inventory of the yearbooks, course catalogs (with related supplements), academic journals, alumni newsletters, view books, registration booklets and other miscellany published by WestConn.

The papers contain drafts of novels, plays, and short stories, plus a variety of personal papers, including financial records, photographs, and papers on the Committee on Allied Tribute to France.

The Eugene O'Neill Collection consists of material by or pertaining to O'Neill, including correspondence, writings of O'Neill, writings of others, photographs, legal documents, clippings, and programs. Correspondents include O'Neill's lawyers, Harry Weinberger and Winfield E. Aronberg; a collector of his works, Keith H. Baker; his agent, Kenneth Macgowan; his and Carlotta's friends Dale Edward Fern, Armina Marshall, Dudley Nichols, Robert Sisk, Fania Marinoff Van Vechten, and Marion Welch; and Carlotta's daughter, Cynthia Chapman Stram, and her grandson, Gerald Eugene Stram. There are letters between O'Neill's biographers and others to Gaylord Farm Sanatorium regarding his stay there, and between biographer Louis Sheaffer and Hazel A. Johnson. There is also correspondence between Harry Weinberger and Agnes Boulton regarding her divorce settlement with O'Neill.
Writings include drafts, proofs, programs, and clippings for some of O'Neill's plays, as well as works by others about O'Neill's life and writings. The photographs include prints of O'Neill and his family, among other subjects. There are also legal documents regarding his plays, and versions of Carlotta's wills.

The Louis Auchincloss collection contains writings and a 2011 Addition. Writings consist of corrected drafts and proofs for works reflecting the diversity of Auchincloss's literary output from the mid 1960s to 1980s. Works include the following: the novels The Embezzlers (1966), A World of Profit (1968), The Country Cousin (1978), The Cat and the King (1981), and Watchfires (1982); a short story collection, Tales of Manhattan (1987); and a collection of critical essays on women writers, Pioneers and Caretakers (1965). The 2011 Addition contains material dating chiefly from the mid 1980s to 2001, including drafts of additional novels and story collections, such as The Book Class (1984), The Atonement and Other Stories (1997), and Her Infinite Variety (2000), and lecture notes.

The collection consists of correspondence, printed material, writings, photographs, ephemera, and posters relating to the history of the Gold Coast (now known as Ghana) and the current political, economic, and social conditions.

The Wendell Minor Papers include incomplete sets of manuscripts, dummies, sketches, drawings, illustrations, and proofs associated with fifteen books illustrated by Wendell Minor. The collection also contains greeting cards and posters illustrated by Minor.
