Materials in the collection consist of correspondence, annual and quarterly reports, articles and clippings, board of directors records, event records, financial and fundraising records, publications, subject files, and electronic files. The collection is particularly strong both for its documentation of the group's activism and advocacy efforts, as well as its efforts to provide community for and document the everyday lives and experiences of LGBTQ families.

Columbia Records was a major employer in Bridgeport, and had its origins in the American Graphophone Company, which was based in the city. Starting in the 1960s and well into the 1980s, Sam Burger saw the transition of Columbia Records from LP to tapes to CDs. Also in his records is a notebook belonging to Alfred VanSant Bodine, which contains the exact chemical makeups of various records during the late 1919s and into the 1920s, offering insight into manufacture and production in the company's early days, as well as the mid 20th century.

The Willimantic Food Co-Op (WFC) originated as the Willimantic Buyer's Club (WBC), a private pre-order food buying club, which began operating during the early 1970s [1974/1975?] in the basement of St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Valley Street in Willimantic, CT. In 1991 the WFC moved to its present location at 27 Meadow Street, Willimantic. It is a one-million-dollar-a-year business with a membership of about sixteen hundred. Due to the business decisions made in the mid-1980s, it survived and is the only remaining natural foods co-op in CT. All other co-ops in the state went bankrupt. The WFC continues to provide members and the general public with natural foods at reduced rates.

The Gil J Wolman papers consists of correspondence, writings, printed items, artworks, photographs, sound recordings, and other materials by or relating to French artist Gil J Wolman (1929-1995) and his milieu. The collection documents the early Lettrist movement of the 1950s through correspondence, writings of Wolman and others, and materials related to Lettrist films, especially Wolman's Anticoncept (1952) and Isidore Isou's Traite? de bave et d'e?ternite? (1951). The collection also documents the creation of Wolman's artist's books, literary works, and sound poetry ("me?gapneumie"), as well as his professional career in the Paris art gallery scene from circa 1960 to 1995. Ruth Daigon's poetry has been published in hundreds of literary magazines and in several anthologies. Ruth Daigon died on February 17, 2010.
