44 autograph diaries, unsigned, kept by Knute Jensen, 1925-1976. Jensen primarily records his meals and the weather, but also writes of odd jobs and his ongoing search for employment in Montana, California, and later, Oregon. Occasionally recorded are births, deaths, and marriages, and world events. Accompanied by membership cards, postcards, newspaper clippings, railway tickets, and other ephemera tucked into diary pages.

The records consist of correspondence, financial summaries, donor lists, reports, agreements, job announcements, faculty biographies, grants and scholarships, and committee notes documenting the activities and operations of the Development Office of the Yale School of Drama. Included are records concerning a Yale salute to Cole Porter at Carnegie Hall, ca. 1984.

The State Water Commission was created in 1925 to reduce, control or eliminate water pollution. It merged into the Water Resources Commission in 1957 that was formed to study the water resources of the State.

As the son of Ira DeVer Warner, one of the key players in the Warner Corset Company, Ira Follett Warner was granted no small amount of wealth and privilege in his lifetime. These family films, some of them from as early as the 1920s when owning a home film camera was unusual, show Ira's branch of the Warner family on various vacations around the world.

Correspondence, writings, photographs and printed materials of John Hall Paxton, American foreign service officer. The papers reflect primarily Paxton's service in China from 1925 to 1949, broken only by a year in Teheran in 1943. He made a dramatic escape from China (1949) and returned to the United States. He broadcast for the Voice of America, and returned as Consul to Isfahan, Iran in 1951, where he died in 1953. His papers include reports on Chinese economic and political conditions, memoranda on Nanking and the Nationalist takeover in 1927; an account of the U.S.S. Panay incident in 1937, to which he was an eyewitness; a record of his internment in Nanking by the Japanese in 1942, and articles and letters on his escape from China in 1949. An unpublished manuscript, Consul to Sinkiang, is among the papers, as are extensive collections of photographs of China and Iran. Correspondents include Everett Drumright, Margaret Mackiernan, wife of Douglass Mackiernan, and Willys Peck.

This is a collection of files pertaining to University Commencement Ceremonies beginning in 1929 through 1971, with some gaps.

The materials consist of correspondence, gift records, accession records, and annual reports.

The Robert Byron papers consist of correspondence, writings, photographs, drawings, and other material that document his work as a writer and art critic. The papers provide evidence of Byron's travels and writing career as well as his work as a propagandist during World War II.
