The records consist of correspondence from the business records of William Bostwick (1796-1863), merchant of Augusta, Georgia, and New Haven, Connecticut, who dealt primarily in cotton. While most of the letters are on business, there are personal letters (1854, 1856) from Benjamin Silliman, Noah Porter, James Browning Miles, and Willis Strong Colton. The records also include sixty-two account books.

The papers consist of correspondence, writings, and personal papers which document the personal and professional life of Laura Stedman. The correspondence highlights personal and professional affiliations with Edmund Clarence Stedman (grandfather), Dr. George M. Gould (husband), and a number of writers including Martha Dickinson Bianchi, Ednah Proctor Clarke (Hayes), and Cora Miranda Baggerly Older. The papers include examples of Stedman's writing, publications, and a run of her scrapbook journals.

The Yehuda Amichai Papers consist of correspondence, manuscripts, journals, photographs, printed material, audio-visual and other materials documenting the life and work of Israeli poet Yehuda Amichai.

The records document the activities of the Yale-China Association in mainland China (1901-1951), Hong Kong (1951-present), and the United States (1901-present). They consist of administrative and policy files produced by the home office in New Haven, correspondence and memoranda written by staff members while serving in China, and administrative files and correspondence produced by the New Asia office in Hong Kong.

The Russell Hoban Papers, which span from 1952 to 2011, contain writings from throughout Russell Hoban's lifetime including novels, children's books, poetry, and opera librettos. The papers also contain clippings, ephemera, photographs, audiovisual materials, and electronic media related to Hoban's life and work.

Materials pertaining to Mr. Ratchford's term of office as United States Congressman representing Connecticut's fifth Congressional district.

The papers consist of photographic prints by and topical files of Bruce Cratsley. Also included is White Light, Silent Shadows, a book of Cratsley's photography.

The collection consists of material created and accumulated by Ron Padgett in the course of his work as a poet, translator, and editor. Material includes extensive correspondence with other poets and writers; manuscripts for Padgett's books of poetry, prose, and translations, as well as some juvenilia and early writings; and manuscripts for writings by others. Also included are "bokes," the term coined by Padgett to describe the "little unique editions" Ted Berrigan and he made for each other beginning in the 1960s, which encompass dozens of unique handmade works by Tom Clark, Anne Waldman, Bill Berkson, George Schneeman, Michael Brownstein, Larry Fagin, Tom Veitch, Aram Saroyan, Steve Carey, and Lewis Warsh, among others. Also found are notebooks, including numerous travel diaries, project notebooks, and personal journals; appointment books for the years 1971 to 2002; as well as teaching files; student papers; research material; printed material; and personal papers. The collection also contains files for White Dove Review, edited by Padgett, along with Dick Gallup and Joe Brainard, while they were high school students in Tulsa, and Full Court Press, edited and published by Padgett, Joan Simon, and Anne Waldman from 1974 to 1989.
