Collection of satirical engravings by Robert Dighton, James Gillray, James Sayers, and C. Williams. The prints are primarily devoted to political satire; and the subjects include John Bull; taxes; French sympathies in Great Britain; George III's reaction to the Catholic Bill; the Broad-Bottomites in the Cabinet; and the public orator William Crowe. Titles include "A noble Lord, on an approaching peace, too busy to attend to the expenditure of a million of the public money"; "Doublures of characters, or striking resemblances in physiognomy"; "An ex minister training a terrier at Bowood"; and "All the talents upset or the highmettled Hanoverian grown restive." Several of the prints have been hand-colored.

The Bourne Family Papers consists of materials that document the lives of abolitionist, minister and newspaper editor George Bourne, his wife Mary Oland Stibbs Bourne and their descendants. The majority of materials in the collection document the professional careers of George Bourne and his son Theodore Bourne. George Bourne's papers include an Anti-Slavery Lecture of 1837 along with other religious writings. Theodore Bourne's papers chiefly relate to African American repatriation organizations such as the African Christian Civilization Society. Correspondence between the Bourne and Stibbs family in England and the United States document George and Mary Bourne's new life as they settled throughout the United States. Poems written by members of the Bourne Family and others such as abolitionists James Montgomery, Helen Maria Williams and John Greenleaf Whitter are also included.

This is a collection of publications by Burton Levine (1948-2023), a sociologist, author, and past president of the Jewish Historical Society of Greater New Haven. The collection consists of both published and unpublished works ranging from 1981 to 1997. The publications in this collection include Bag of Wire Expose, Contemporary Sociology, Fellowship, Hartford Courant, The Humanist, Jewish Book World, Jewish Frontier, Jewish Spectator, Na'amat Women, New Haven Register, New York Times, Nursing Forum, ORT Reporter, Present Tense, Shmate, Social Forces, and Women's American ORT Reporter. The publications include book reviews, newspaper and magazine articles, scholarly articles, and opinion pieces. Levine wrote about Jewish culture, but tried to avoid writing about religion. This collection grants insight into social and political issues in the Jewish community and the United States throughout the 80s and 90s from a left-leaning perspective.

The collection consists of correspondence, writings, collected material, personal items, and memorabilia that document the activities and associations of George Sherwood Eddy throughout his career as a YMCA secretary, seminar leader, author, lecturer, and evangelist. George Sherwood Eddy was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on January 19, 1871. He earned a Ph.B. degree from Sheffield Scientific School, Yale University in 1891, attended Union Theological Seminary and graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary. Eddy worked for the YMCA, Student Volunteer Movement for Foreign Missions, and American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. He was appointed YMCA secretary for Asia in 1911. Eddy wrote and published numerous books and pamphlets from 1895-1955. He died in Jacksonville, Illinois on November 4, 1963.
