The collection contains letters, postcards, photographs, newsletters and mailing address information sent by local men and women in service during World War II to Stephen Von Euw, editor of The Rockville Journal in Rockville, Connecticut.

The collection contains papers of the Medical Institution of Yale College (Yale University School of Medicine) including correspondence, committee reports, financial reports, and memorials to the Yale Corporation, especially during the period when Charles A Linsdley served as Dean (1863-1885).

The papers contain correspondence, diaries, military papers, and other material documenting the military career of Albert Barnitz and Barnitz family life. The papers concern such subjects as cavalry operations, military life, relations between parents and children, and child rearing practices.

The Honors Theses Collection includes original documents created by senior students in the Honors Program. The theses cover a broad range of subject areas and represent most academic departments. New theses are added at the end of the spring semester each year.

The collection consists of correspondence, research materials and unpublished writings of Robert Kaplan. The research materials and writings document John L. Lewis, the UMWA Welfare and Retirement Fund, and Josephine Roche, retirement fund director.

The Boris Kaufman Papers contain professional papers, correspondence, writings, and other material documenting the life and work of cinematographer Boris Kaufman, as well as film production and cinematographic practice in France and the United States during the middle decades of the 20th century.

The papers span the dates 1711-1951, and the bulk of material concerns three individuals: Timothy Dwight (1694-1771), Theodore Dwight (1796-1866), and Eleanor Augusta Ferris. The papers of Timothy Dwight document events of Dummer's War and the management of Fort Dummer in 1724-25, as well as his later work as a surveyor and Judge during the period of dispute over boundaries and administration of the New Hampshire Grants. The papers of Theodore Dwight include a diary or notebook containing manuscript drafts of his writings as well as accounts of some of his travels, a manuscript of a lesson book for young school children with instructions for teachers, one letter from Garibaldi, and personal documents and manuscripts. The papers of Eleanor Augusta Ferris consist chiefly of correspondence from Ada Galsworthy, but also include letters from contributors to "The Villager" and from family members. The collection also contains other papers of the Dwight and Ferris families, including letters, documents, and genealogies of the Dwight Family, a few papers of Theodore Dwight (1764-1846), and photographs of the Ferris family from about the 1870s to the 1940s.

The papers contain correspondence and printed material documenting the lives of several Kenagas, Baers, and Reists of New York, California, and several midwest states.
