The Stephen Parker Sterling collection is composed of papers relating to Stephen Parker Sterling, his immediate family, and their home at 46 Sterling Hill Road, known as Sterling Heights.

The Mary Greenwalt Papers include forty-four illustrations of her works on the lives of famous composers published between 1936 and 1946. Twenty-two illustrations have been identified as to the books in which they appeared; twenty-two remain unconnected to published works.

The Christopher Cox Papers consists of the writings, correspondence files, and personal papers of the editor, author, actor, director, and producer Christopher Cox, and of his partner, the art historian William Olander.

Walter Ihrke, a composer and musician, served as Head of the Music Ddepartment at the University of Connecticut from 1949-1965. The collection contains scores and recordings as well as correspondence, publications and documentation of Ihrke's "Automated Musical Training" ["Ihrke Method"].

The papers consist of letters, manuscripts, and other documents from the business files of Kurt Wolff Verlag. Chiefly correspondence with authors of the German Expressionist literary movement. Includes contracts, financial statements, and documentary material. Correspondents include Walter Hasenclever, Franz Kafka, and Franz Werfel. Most letters to the Kurt Wolff Verlag are directed to Kurt Wolff himself; others are addressed to persons associated with the Kurt Wolff Verlag, e.g. Georg Heinrich Meyer, Giovanni Mardersteig, Ernst Rowohlt, Kurt Pinthus, Erik Ernst Schwabach, Lothar Mohrenwitz, René Schickele, Annemarie v. Puttkamer, Arthur Seiffhart, and Daniel Brody. Letters from 1907 to 1912 are directed to the Ernst Rowohlt Verlag (which became the Kurt Wolff Verlag on Feb. 15, 1913). Many letters to the Hyperion Verlag and to the Verlag der Weissen Blätter, some to Der neue Geist Verlag, Genius Verlag, and Verlag der Schriften von Karl Kraus, which all were part of the Kurt Wolff Verlag at one time.

The records consist of files maintained by Yale Architectural and Engineering Services (and its predecessors) concerning the construction and maintenance of Yale facilities. Included are minutes, correspondence, reports, and other records documenting zoning and taxes, building permits, contractors and bids, billing, personnel, energy conservation, biological safety, and alterations.

The records consist of subject files, reports, policies, statistical composites, printed material, photographs, and studies of the Admissions Office of the Yale School of Medicine.

J. Louis von der Mehden, Jr. was born 20 July 1873 in San Francisco, California. Von der Mehden held several positions in San Francisco before moving east to New York City after the 1906 earthquake. He was steadily employed as a cellist or conductor with theatrical or commercial bands. Von der Mehden worked for a year as the musical director of Herald Square Theater before becoming involved full time in the recording industry, working at different times for five different phonograph studios: U.S. Phonograph, Pathé Frère, Columbia, Lyraphone and the Victor Talking Machine Company. On some recordings he played cello in the orchestra; more regularly he would conduct performances, often arranging the music the night before the recording sessions. In 1926, the von der Mehden's moved to Old Saybrook, Connecticut, full-time, having purchased a house in 1911. J. Louis von der Mehden, Jr. died 27 August 1954 in Middlesex Memorial Hospital and was buried in Cypress Cemetery at Saybrook Point.

Correspondence, reports, and other papers of Pierre Jay, banker and Deputy Agent General for Reparations in Berlin from December, 1926 to May, 1930. These papers deal primarily with the Dawes Plan for collecting reparations from Germany following World War I and consist mainly of reports, minutes, and printed materials related to the work of the Economic Service section of the Transfer Committee.

The records consist of correspondence, news releases, publications, a press book, and letters congratulating Yale on its 250th anniversary.
