Mr. Albert E. Moss was a faculty member at Connecticut Agricultural College (now the University of Connecticut) for twenty-nine years. He is best known for his work in the field of Forestry. Focus of the collection is survey work on the transfer of land to and from the University of Connecticut.

Memorabilia and artifacts related to the Southern New England Telephone Company of Connecticut, including antique telephones, a climbing belt and lanyard used by a crewman, the cellphone used to make the first cellphone call in Connecticut, an operator's dial pencil, an employee service pin and Telephone Pioneers memorabilia, and "clothing" made from pages from the SNET Yellow Pages. Also includes a printing plate of the first telephone directory created in February 1878, of subscribers to the New Haven District Telephone Company, the predecessor of SNET.

This collection contains flyers, venue calendars, fanzines, posters, photographs, LPs, 45s, cassettes, buttons, tee-shirts and ephemera from Connecticut's hardcore punk and skateboarding scene.

Correspondence, writings, diaries, photographs, artwork, research materials, printed materials, and other papers by, to, or related to Samuel Steward. Correspondents include Gertrude Stein, Alice B. Toklas, George Platt Lynes, and Thornton Wilder. Writings include drafts of homoerotic novels written under the nom de plume Phil Andros, and a translation of Querelle of Brest by Jean Genet. A focus of the papers is Steward's sexual exploits, which are documented in diaries, photographs, and other papers, including Steward's stud file cataloging his sexual partners and records and writings produced for sexologist Alfred Kinsey. The papers also include writings, photographs, clippings, artwork, and other materials related to Steward's work as a tattoo artist, including correspondence from Don Ed Hardy. Artwork includes pen and ink tracings of illustrations by Jean Cocteau, for Genet's Querelle, a portrait of Gertrude Stein by Carl Van Vechten inscribed by Stein, and a charcoal portrait of Alice B. Toklas.

Collection consists of originals and typescripts of correspondence, writings, drawings, and other papers, and documents aspects of the life and work of Beatrice Wood.

9 bound volumes of music manuscripts mainly by Italian composers; letters written by Lady Hamilton, Horatio Nelson, and Sarah Nelson; 10 reproductions of paintings and engravings of Lady Hamilton; 9 bound volumes of printed music; and Lady Hamilton's music cabinet.

The records contain drawings, photographs, correspondence, job files, and publicity records documenting the career of Warren Platner as an architect and designer. The records include extensive documentation of major projects, such as Standard Brands, Kent Memorial Library, Sea Containers, Windows on the World at the World Trade Center, and Water Tower Place. The records document Platner's career as an associate at the offices of both Eero Saarinen and Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo, as well as his independent work. The collection contains only minimal documentation of Platner's furniture designs for Knoll.

The Arthur Davison Ficke Papers document the personal lives and literary interests of Arthur Davison and Gladys Brown Ficke. Major correspondents include Witter Bynner, Floyd Dell, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Edgar Lee Masters, and John Cowper Powys. In addition to manuscripts of Ficke's own works, the papers contain manuscripts of poems by Witter Bynner, Edgar Lee Masters, and others.

This collection of printed ephemera and subject files about fine presses has been accumulated by Olin Library throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
