This collection documents the everyday, professional, and philanthropic life of several members of the Kingsbury family. While the collection is largely paper based, there are also publications related to the Kingsbury family, daybooks, account ledgers, a scrapbook, daguerreotypes, an ambrotype, a tintype, cart de visites, cabinet cards, and photograph albums. There are three photographs of African American women from the mid 1800s.

The Yale Tocqueville Manuscripts collection contains papers of both Alexis de Tocqueville and Gustave de Beaumont, intermixed. The papers include correspondence, personal papers, and autograph manuscripts by Tocqueville (including the autograph manuscript of De La Democratie en Amerique), Beaumont, and their families and associates, as well as autograph copies of Tocqueville and Beaumont documents by contemporary and later copyists, and photoduplicated copies of originals held elsewhere in other public and private collections.

Correspondence and writings by Aldington. The correspondence consists of seven folders of letters written by Richard and Catherine Aldington to Eunice Black Gluckman dating from 1932 to 1962. There are also 28 letters by Richard Aldington to Crosby Gaige, and approximately fifteen letters to various other people, including five to Bernhard Knollenberg. The writings consist of drafts, layouts, and proofsheets of articles and poems by Aldington.

Collection includes letters between Corelli and her publishers, George and Richard Bentley, 1885-1894, including a copy of a letter by Basil Wilberforce concerning Corelli's "Barabbas"; letters to Alexander Wedderburn, 1908-17, that discuss John Ruskin, Arthur and Joan Severn, and personal matters; letters between George Bentley, Eric Mackay, and Arthur Waugh; autograph manuscript of "The Great Secret" (published in 1920 as "The Secret Power"); and a corrected typescript by Bertha Vyver entitled "Marie Corelli" (published in 1930 as "Memoirs of Marie Corelli") that contains a chapter by John Cuming Walters.
