The collection contains materials about Thomas J. Dodd that have been donated by individuals other than the Dodd Family.

The collection consists of copies of select Annan papers from the United Nations, including interviews, correspondence, briefings, reports and speeches from Annan's tenure as United Nations Secretary-General from 1997 to 2007. The majority of the papers in this collection are published and indexed in the Collected Papers of Kofi Annan, UN Secretary-General, 1997-2006, edited by Jean E. Krasno.

This intentionally assembled collection documents lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, organizations, and events in New Haven and Connecticut. The collection consists of newsletters, flyers, posters, and other printed material.

Collection consists of manuscripts (correspondence and drafts of writings), illustration material (drawings in all media, photographs, book dummies, and printing blocks and plates), and publication proofs by various authors and artists including Louisa May Alcott, Alexander Anderson, Louis-Maurice Boutet de Monvel, Gelett Burgess, Harrison Cady, Palmer Cox, F. O. C. Darley, W. W. Denslow, Jo Mora, Peter Newell, and Symeon Shimin, as well as work produced for the McLoughlin Brothers publishing house. Also present are penmanship exercise books, samplers, and other school work produced by American children including John Hancock and his brother Ebenezer, letters of advice written to children by prominent figures such as Samuel Clemens, Charles Dodgson, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington, and writings created by and for Native American children. The collection also includes Shirley's own collection files which document how she created her collection.

The records consist of correspondence, committee and planning documents, and project and procedure files maintained by Diana E. E. Kleiner as deputy provost for the arts at Yale.

The University of Connecticut School of Law, a pioneer in experiential legal education, allows students to choose from a broad and diverse range of options to engage in the real-world practice of law, to put their classroom learning into practice, and to develop their legal knowledge, skills and professional identities. These choices include 11 supervised in-house and partnership clinics and six field placement programs, all of which satisfy UConn Law's practice-based learning requirement. In addition, the associate dean for academic affairs may designate certain courses to satisfy this requirement. The papers document the work of poet, artist, and art critic Marjorie Welish. The papers consist of professional correspondence, drafts of writings, notebooks, research files, course material, teaching notes, printed material, and computer disks, spanning the years 1950-2003. The bulk of the collection consists of Welish's correspondence and drafts of writings. Correspondence includes letters from colleagues, students, and friends regarding her teaching and writings. Writings shed light on her creative process and include autograph manuscript and typescrpt drafts and printed versions of her writings, including her poetry, essays, and criticism. Other papers include research notes, her notes from courses she enrolled in, her teaching notes and class material, and various printed material that she collected as part of her research.

The materials consist of group photographs of classes and pictures of classroom scenes.
