The collection consists of reports of meetings of P. D. Ouspensky with his followers in London (1921-1947) and his manuscripts of books and articles in Russian, French, and English. Included are In Search of the Miraculous, New Model of the Universe, and Tertium Organum. Also in the collection are printed copies of Ouspensky's books in various languages, selected articles by others on Ouspensky, and photographs.

Second Church of Christ, Scientist records, 1912-2002

The Second Church of Christ Scientist Hartford, was organized in 1907 by 11 members of The Mother Church. The first service was held on an upper floor at 64 Pearl Street, and as the congregation grew, services were moved twice to other sites. The church building at the corner of Lafayette and Russ Streets held its first service January 4, 1925. A diminished membership prompted the congregation to sell the church building to the State of Connecticut in 2008.

The collection consists of photocopies of documents in the Russian State Military Archive (Rossiskii Gosudarstvennyi Voennyi Arkhiv) in Moscow. The documents relate to German-Soviet military and economic relations between 1918 and 1941, and the use of Soviet tanks in the Spanish Civil War, 1936-1939.

Evelyn Hutchinson's work as a zoologist and limnologist. The papers highlight his years on the faculty at Yale University but also document his student days at Cambridge University and his early career in South Africa. Of note are materials from his travels as part of the Yale North India Expedition. The collection includes personal papers relating to various members of the Hutchinson family.
