Seven diaries kept by Estella Hewitt from 1946-1973 documenting daily activities including cooking, cleaning, baking, social activities, playing organ at churches, and working at the Gilbert and Oliver Wolcott libraries. While the other volumes document daily life in Litchfield, the 1962 diary is a trip diary detailing a trip to England, France, Italy Holland, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium.

Malleable Iron Fittings was incorporated in 1864 in Branford, Connecticut, to manufacture iron pipe fillings. It was acquired by Waltham Industries in 1969 and closed its doors in 1971. The collection consists of photographs of the company's shop floor, some possibly taken by Ernest G.L. Craig, an electrical and plant engineer at the company from 1935 to 1968.

The Emma L. Adams composition book (2011-41-0) contains handwritten compositions by Emma L. Adams between October 30, 1875 and November 25, 1876. The small bound notebook contains various compositions dealing with a variety of topics. One titled "A day at Irvington and Tarrytown" describes a day excursion by train of school girls from Brooklyn up the Hudson River. She discusses seeing Washington Irving's home and lunching on the veranda, as well as visiting his grave and the Old Dutch Church in Tarrytown, and seeing Sleepy Hollow. Several other compositions discuss music, and "Human Ingenuity" tackles the topics of advances in travel and communication.
