The records consist of subject files, correspondence, annual reports, and memoranda documenting Peters Salovey's activities as president of Yale University. The records contain substantive documentation on virtually every aspect of the university administration, schools, departments, and other major units.

The petition, signed by officers of Yale University, urges the U. S. Senate to ratify the World War I peace treaty.

The materials consists of unbound photograph albums of Philip Hinkle (Yale 1897) documenting his student days at Yale. Includes photographs of Glee Club trips, sports, group and individual portraits of classmates, campus scenes, and pictures of family, friends, and trips.

Letters, autographs, mottos, and other material written by and relating to Harriet Beecher Stowe - her philosophy and her novel, Uncle Tom's Cabin. Includes photocopy of a bill of sale documenting Abraham Lincoln's 1840 purchase of an enslaved woman.

The Philo Beardslee account book (2011-124-0) includes accounts from 1804-1829. It bears the inscritption "Adeline Johnson New Town March, 1848." It appears to have later been used as a scrapbook from which the pasted items were later removed. The residue remains. It also includes child-like drawnings and a letter written into the book from a Julia to of New Town to her counsin Cynthia.

The Philo Beers account book (1973-7-17) records transactions of Philo Beers from 1820 to 1837. There are many loose items found in the book which were used to keep accounting information. There is an item in the beginning of the book labeled "Democratic Liberal Ticket," but the item is not dated.

The Phineas Bradley Day Book (1978-23-203) records daily business transactions from 1791-1795 for a store Bradley operated in Litchfield, Connecticut.

The collection consists of research notes and datasets compiled by Thomas Dublin while he conducted research in the 1980s about workers at the Jewett City Cotton Manufacturing Company in Jewett City, Connecticut. Professor Dublin used materials about the company that are in the Slater Company Records, held in Archives & Special Collections at the University of Connecticut Libraries.

The album, sent to Professor S. E. Baldwin on the occasion of his seventy-seventh birthday in 1917, contains photographs of members of the Yale Association of Japan.
