General note
Includes one Christmas card in Italian to Warner's parents, and one Christmas card to Warner signed "Seth." The major Allied powers issued Allied Military Currency during and after WW II in newly liberated or defeated countries such as France and Italy. Specialized military currency was printed to provide economic stability for the U. S. dollar in occupied countries. Included are the following Allied Military Currency Notes: Nine 1 Lira notes, three 2 Lire notes, two 5 Lire notes; and, one Italian 2 Lira note.
