Boxed set of forty-two of the forty-six Shirley Smith engravings for the Shelley project [Bain nos. 165-206] printed on individual sheets of Japanese paper by the artist in a limited edition of 25 boxed sets, numbered and signed, of which this is set number seven. The 42 engravings have been individually matted and boxed. See engraving list (Section IV).

Limited edition of 187 copies; seven copies printed on Hosho and 180 copies printed on Basingwerk Parchment of which this is copy no. 50 signed by Shirley Smith. Quarter bound in leather with gray buckram boards in gray buckram slipcase. Three cards announcing the publication laid in.

The first leaf depicts one wall, perhaps displaying Danish decorative art. The second leaf, otherwise blank, is titled "Danish Exhibition, Guild Hall, 1907."

Reid asks Mason to discuss in person what he would want for the Sketch Club; he admits he is "rather in the dark as to what is normal in the way of prizes for the Sketch Club."
