The collection contains research material, writings, printed material, photographs and audiovisual material, including sound and video recordings, scrapbooks, and other personal papers documenting the life and professional career of American-born performer and artistic director Bert Stimmel. Stimmel spent the bulk of his professional life in the U.S., from the late 1950s to early 1970s, and in Lebanon, from 1972 onward, and the collection features material accumulated around his professional activities during this 50 year period.

The collection consists of writings, correspondence, research and teaching material, photographs, printed material, audiovisual material, computer disks, and other papers, documenting the literary and academic career of Gerald Robert Vizenor and relating to many of his published works on Native American literature, history, and culture.

The Carolyn Burke Collection on Mina Loy and Lee Miller consists of Carolyn Burke's research files, correspondence, writings, and original documents pertaining to Mina Loy and Lee Miller. These original documents were obtained by Burke during the course of her research, primarily from Loy's daughter, Joella Haweis Bayer, and Miller's son, Anthony Penrose. The 2011 acquisition includes the bulk of the collection's Mina Loy papers. This acquisition includes autograph manuscripts and fragments of writings, including the prose pieces "Alda's Beauty" and "Promised Land." Correspondence by Mina Loy and family members is especially well represented, and family photographs and records of Loy's inventions are also present. The 2012 acquisition contains 14 audiocassettes, transcripts, and notes from Burke's interviews in the late 1970s and 1980s with Loy's daughter, Joella Haweis Bayer. The 2013 acquisition includes further autograph manuscripts by Loy. Manuscript fragments for Loy's "Colossus," "Psycho-Democracy," and other poems are present in this acquisition, as is correspondence, photographs, and a small amount of business records. The bulk of the 2013 acquisition, however, is Burke's research files for the Loy and Miller biographies. Original documents pertaining to Lee Miller are present in this acquisition and include a small amount of correspondence and family photographs. These items have not been separated, and are noted at the file level.

The Joseph W. and Kit Reed Papers contain correpondence, writings by Joseph and Kit Reed and others, notes and research papers, personal and professional papers, financial papers, photographs, artwork, printed material, audiocassettes and videocassettes, scrapbooks, and computer disks. The papers document their personal and professional lives and artistic endeavors.

The collection contains materials documenting the artistic, professional, and personal activities of Gerard Malanga. Materials include correspondence, research and subject files, drafts and printed versions of writings, photographic materials, audiovisual materials, printed materials, and artwork. There is correspondence with publishers and editors, galleries and cultural organizations, writers, friends, and family. The research files and writings document work by Malanga and others. There are drafts, autograph manuscript and typescript, of a great many individual poems by Malanga and more extensive, though scattered files for collections of poems and other book-length projects, such as Ten Years After (1977), This Will Kill That (1983), Mythologies of the Heart (1996), and Scopophilia (1985). Materials can also be found for projects that relate to Malanga's work as a photograph archivist for the New York City Parks Department, including books on Robert Moses and public swimming facilities in the city. Photographic materials include negatives, contact sheets, and prints, and feature portraits of writers and artists, chiefly American poets, dating from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Audiovisual materials include audiocassettes, reel-to-reel sound recordings, and optical media, including readings and performances by Malanga and others. Printed materials include posters, issues of magazines, clippings, and ephemera.

The John Guare Papers document the work and life of the playwright and educator John Guare. The papers consist of production files, professional correspondence, writings, writings of others, subject files, personal effects, personal papers, photographs, printed material, and one reel-to-reel sound recording. The bulk of the material spans the years 1962-2010.

Correspondence, writings, audio and moving image recordings, photographic materials, subject files, printed ephemera, art work, and other materials created or collected by Richard Erdoes (1912-2008), author of more than a dozen books about American Indian life. The collection primarily documents Erdoes's activities between 1968 and 1999, and is useful for the study of his writing process and research interests, specifically his work with American Indian individuals and communities. His papers also serve as a resource for the study of the peoples, areas, and subjects that he chose to research and record, and are particularly useful for research about the American Indian civil rights movement, twentieth century American Indian spirituality and religious practices, especially among the Lakota, and American Indian cultural revitilization efforts during the latter half of the twentieth century.

The Bismuth-Lemaître Papers is comprised of material created and compiled by Maurice Lemaître, documenting the Lettrism movement from its inception in 1945 to the present day and Lemaître's own cultural and political activities as a leader of the movement. According to Lemaître's wishes, the title of the collection incorporates his birth name in order to reflect his heritage.
