The collection contains incident logs, telephone logs and lost and found records created by the University of Connecticut Fire Department between 1950 and 1971 and one log from the Police Department.
The project lasted five years and was officially titled "Work Simplification in the Area of Child Care for Physically Handicapped Women". The main work of the project took place between 1955 and 1960.
