This list contains descriptions of and locator information for single manuscripts bound with books in the Osborn Collection.

Manuscripts in the Albi Rosenthal Collection of Monteverdi and the Birth of Opera consist of letters, writings, and music relating to Monteverdi and others involved in the creation of opera in seventeenth-century Italy. Letters of Monteverdi collaborators Claudio Achillini, Jacopo Peri, Ottavio Rinuccini, and other musicians and writers, addressed to third parties or unidentified recipients, concern Monteverdi's music and other music subjects. Other materials include a volume of holograph music by Alessandro Capece and two manuscripts by unidentified writers giving contempory accounts of music performed in seventeenth-century Urbino. Also present are letters of twentieth-century composers Paul Hindemith, Vincent d'Indy, and Gian Francesco Malipiero, concerning Monteverdi's music. Some items are accompanied by notes of former owners, vendor descriptions, transcriptions, or translations, some possibly by French musicologist Henry Prunières.

The Marc Allégret Papers document Allégret 's career as a filmmaker and his association with author André Gide. Allegrét's working files include screenplays, shooting scripts, correspondence, background and research materials, production notes and documents, cut film, photographs, and printed ephemera. There are screenplays or shooting scripts for over a dozen feature-length films and larger, mixed files for the documentaries Voyage au Congo (1927), Occultisme et magie (1951), and Avec André Gide (1952). The files for Voyage au Congo also document Allegrét's travels with Gide through French equatorial Africa in the mid 1920s. Works by Others include writings by Gide and screenplays and shooting scripts by Allégret's collaborators. Works by Gide include corrected drafts and proofs for several titles dating from the 1920s, such as Corydon (1924) and Retour du Tchad (1927). Correspondence consists of letters to Allégret from Françoise Giroud, Roger Martin du Gard, and Roger Vadim, and third party correspondence between André Gide, Madeleine Louise Mathilde Gide, Elie Allégret, Roger Martin du Gard, producer Pierre Braunberger, and others.

The collection includes material designed by Baugniet including original drawings for advertisements and other ephemera, printed versions of advertisements and sheet music, posters and ephemera related to Baugniet's exhibitions, and a periodical featuring an article on his wife Akarova.

The Marcia Nardi collection contains correspondence and writings documenting her work as a poet between 1949 and 1983. The collection contains letters to Nardi by Louise Bogan, Marguerite Caetani, Randall Jarrell, Norman Holmes Pearson, Alec Waugh, Thornton Wilder, and others, most offering personal and professional advice and assistance in her efforts to complete a volume of poems. There is also a manuscript miscellany, "The New Helicon," in the hand of John Edmunds and a typescript of Nardi's poem "Femelle de l'homme." The collection also contains John Edmunds Papers pertaining to Nardi including correspondence from Nardi to Edmunds and typescript drafts of her unpublished book "Collected Poems."

The papers provide insight into the personal and professional life of Mardette Perkins, American actress and poet, and consist of correspondence, drafts of writings, clippings, ephemera, computer media, and audiovisual material dating from 1942 to 1996. Perkins' acting career is represented in photographs, clippings, ephemera, and a film of her work for television commercials. The papers contain drafts of Perkins' poetry, including an unpublished manuscript for her "Collected Poems, I," and recordings of her reading poetry. The papers also shed light on Perkins' experience of psychoanalysis, detailed in her journals from 1961 to 1976.

Vocal music, most 1960s or undated, consisting of autograph manuscript drafts and arrangements, transparencies, and diazo reproductions, some accompanied by copies of published music; and a small amount of other papers. Autograph manuscript music includes spirituals arranged for solo voice or chorus; The Negro Speaks of Rivers, Songs of the Seasons, Three Dream Portraits, and other songs on texts by Langston Hughes; songs on texts by Edna St. Vincent Millay and other poets; and musicals and songs with lyrics by Janice Lovoos, some with related correspondence. Other papers consist of a scrapbook containing photographs, clippings, and ephemera, most circa 1928-1930, some relating to Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, and Lawrence Richardson; and two books containing biographical information about Bonds and analysis of her music: Mildred Denby Green, Black Women Composers: A Genesis (Boston: Twayne Publishers, 1983), and Alice Tischler, Fifteen Black American Composers: A Bibliography of Their Works (Detroit: Information Coordinators, 1981).

The Margaret Croyden papers contain writings, research material, photographs, audiovisual material, and personal papers. Writings include drafts, printed versions, and photocopies of printed versions of reviews and essays on theater-related topics as well as corrected drafts of her fourth book, The Years in Between (Xlibris, 2011). Video recordings appear to date chiefly from Croyden's tenure with the CBS TV series Camera Three during the 1970s. There are audio recordings and other materials relating to theater director Peter Brook and possibly to Croyden's Conversations with Peter Brook: 1970-2000 (Theatre Communications Group, 2003). Other materials in the collection include clippings, computer disks, correspondence, photographs, a laptop, and slides.

The collection contains correspondence, writings, photographs, and personal papers documenting the life and work of Connecticut-based author Margaret Witter Fuller (1872-1954).
