The collection consists of tankas, which are Buddhist scrolls or fabric temple banners, chiefly Tibetan, but also Nepalese, Bhutanese, Indian and Chinese, which bear religious images, circa 1600-circa 1950. Some tankas also bear inscriptions on their versos.
The T. C. Wilson Papers consist of correspondence, writings, and personal papers relating to the life and career of American poet-critic Theodore Carl Wilson.
The collection consists of typescript copies of scripts for television programs produced by the Columbia Broadcasting System and United States Steel Hour from 1957 to 1960. Included are scripts written by Rod Serling, Tad Mosel, Leonard Spigelgass, Aaron Spelling, and George Bellak, among others. The scripts seem to have been compiled for a class on television writing which was taught by David Davidson in the Yale School of Drama beginning in the mid-1960s.
The correspondence consists of 29 letters addressed to various members of Sir William Temple's family, particularly his sister, Lady Giffard. The letters discuss domestic and personal concerns, including the health of family members, preparations for visits, and purchases of supplies. Several to Lady Giffard offer condolences on the death of Sir William. A letter from James Butler, Duke of Ormonde to Sir William details his view of Irish affairs.
The collection consists of correspondence, writings, including manuscripts and proofs, journals, notebooks, day books, research files, photographs, printed materials, awards, artwork, and audiovisual materials related to the life and work of Terry Tempest Williams.
The Theatre Guild Archive consists of a variety of materials that document the history of the Theatre Guild from its earliest productions in 1919 through theatre and film projects in the 1980s and 1990s. Material includes correspondence and subject files relating to individuals, organizations, productions, and projects with which the company was involved; administrative and financial records; scripts and records of stage, radio, television, and film projects; scrapbooks, press books and clippings; costume, lighting and scenic designs and other art work; photographs of productions, events, and individuals; manuscript and printed music and related materials which document the creation, rehearsal, and performance of music composed and/or arranged for theatrical productions conceived of and produced by the Theatre Guild; production programs and publicity material from Theatre Guild and non-Theatre Guild productions; books, serials and other printed material published by the Theatre Guild as well as other publications acquired by Theatre Guild staff ; posters and lobby cards; audiovisual materials; and records of projects with which the Theatre Guild and its administrators were affiliated including the Westport Country Playhouse, the Bureau of New Plays, the American Shakespeare Festival Theatre and Academy, the Theatre Guild American Repertory Company, and Theatre at Sea.
The Difficulties Records contain correspondence, production files, drafts of writings, and printed material relating to the production and publication of journal issues.
The collection contains letters written by Dreiser to colleagues and friends, two literary manuscripts, seven printed writings from published periodicals, and a group of clippings and ephemera about Dreiser and his work. Correspondents include Ernest Augustus Boyd, Dudley Nichols, Willard Huntington Wright, and the agency Management Ernest Briggs.
The Theresa Helburn Papers consist of correspondence, diaries, financial documents, writings, photographs, scrapbooks and memorabilia documenting her career as a writer and theatrical director and administrator for the Theatre Guild and other theaters.
