10 color posters of Withers' WWII era illustrations

Correspondence, newspaper and magazine clippings regarding Georgi Mikhailov's life, in particular his time spent as a political prisoner in Soviet labor camps in Northeastern Siberia from 1980-1983. The collection also contains photographs and negatives of Mikhailov and the labor camps.

Gerald Hausman was born 13 October 1945 in Baltimore, MD. He attended New Mexico Highlands University (B.A., 1968). His career has included Poetry teacher (Lenox, MA, 1969-1972), editor of the Bookstore Press (1972-1977), vice-president of Sunstone Press (Santa Fe, NM, 1979-1983); English teacher at the Santa Fe Preparatory School (1983-1987).

Ginnie Hofmann is a published author and an illustrator of children's books. Some of the published credits of Ginnie Hofmann include Who Wants an Old Teddy Bear?, The Runaway Teddy Bear, One Teddy Bear is Enough!, and The Bear Next Door. One of her most famous artistic endeavours was her nearly 30 years of work with McCall drawing the Besty McCall Paper Doll collection. This collection contains examples of that work along with some posters.

Born in 1921 in Pusiano, Italy, Cambon received his D. Phil in 1947. A Professor of Romance Languages and Comparative Literature, Cambon was a specialist in modern Italian poetry, especially Eugenio Montale. Cambon taught at Rutgers University from 1961 until 1969, when he came to the University of Connecticut for the remainder of his career. Glauco Cambon died in 1988.

Grace E. Snow was one of the first women to graduate from Storrs Agricultural College (1896), now the University of Connecticut. Collection contains her diploma, report card, dance program and publications.
