The Pied Pipers of Powder Leg, undated Box 186

Contains a screenplay concept for an unproduced film. The story, by Clair Huffaker, concerns two men, one white and one black, who must care for a young woman and six orphan children on a 200-mile trek toward Laramie, Wyoming. The party faces great odds, the greatest of which are attacks by Native Americans, and eventually the two men come to respect one another.
