The Manitou, 1977 March 28 Box 188

Contains a director's draft script for the 1977 horror film directed by William Girdler. The script is dated March 28, 1977, but contains some revisions dated from February of the same year. The screenplay was written by Girdler, Jon Cedar, and Thomas Pope, adapted from the novel by Graham Masterson. The story concerns the rebirth of a Native American demonic spirit, and is set is San Francisco and South Dakota.
