Stage to Silver City (The Silver Whip), 1952 August 26-1952 October 27 Box 186

Contains a revised final script (dated Aug. 26, 1952, with revisions dated through Oct. 27 of the same year) for the Harmon Jones-directed film "The Silver Whip." This script, titled with the working moniker "Stage to Silver City," was written by Jesse L. Lasky Jr. and based on a Jack Schaefer novel. The story concerns a young man who, through the help of stagecoach armed guard, gains employment as a stage driver. The stage, carrying gold and travellers, is ambushed by outlaws, sparking a manhunt.
