Papers relating to SC's 'LONDON LETTER', which was to be a regular feature of this new magazine under the joint editorship of Michael Erlhoff: Circulated letter from joint editor Lothar Romain to all correspondents, Bonn/Hannover 15.12.1985, setting out his hopes and expectations, also setting out scale of fees for authors ('the same for all') etc. and attaching: Nine pages setting out editorial policy and other aspects of this venture. Prototype issue for 'Kwie Kunst' (the intended title for magazine), pp.16, (the title had to be changed for legal reasons to 'K Kunstzeitschrift' for the first commercial issue already, as explained by LR in circular). Handwritten list of 'TOPICS' to be covered, single sheet, in ink. Typescript for the 'Letter': four sheets of paper of various sizes, other bits of paper glued-on extending pages in all directions, numerous and hard worked revisions throughout script. Final typescript for 'Letter', four pages - the last page made up from two separate pieces of paper and then copied to single page, signed in red biro 'Simon Cutts. Jan 14th 1985', some small corrections in black pen, also: five more sets of photocopies of final script Letter from editor (LR?) to SC of 27. 2. 1985, handwritten in red ink,…your letter was good, though too long…'. Letter from Karin Gebel, Kunstzeitschrift, to SC of 22.3.1985, returning borrowed illustrative material and advising 'fee in next few days'.
