Series V. PHOTOGRAPHS, consists of six boxes of professional and nine boxes of personal photographs. Professional photographs are located in Boxes 131-136. Boxes 131-132 hold photograph albums mostly containing pictures of chimpanzees and gorillas. The other boxes have additional chimpanzee and gorilla photographs, book illustrations, World War I photos, and miscellaneous other pictures. Personal photographs are found in Boxes 137-145 and consist primarily of photo albums. Boxes 138-143 held eleven albums comprising the photographic collection of Ada Watterson Yerkes and boxes 143-145 contain five albums of the photographic collection of Roberta Yerkes Blanshard.
