Blue board sleeve with top opening. It is decorated with gold stamping and lettered in gold: CARTE/D'EUROPE There is a label laid down on the sleeve inscribed: Bouge/(J. B. de)/grand-Carte d'Europe/1803/[and] I.K 34 There is an interior cover for map which then slips into sleeve. The sleeve measures 14 5/8 x 9 1/2 x 1 5/8 inches.

Blue gilt decorated sleeve with top opening. Inscribed in ink on label laid down on front of sleeve: IK/336. The label is lettered in gold IRLANDE. There is a paper label laid down on the spine of the sleeve, inscribed: carte de Irlande/4 feuilles. 8 3/4 x 7 1/4 x 1 inches.

Blue sleeve decorated with gold and a top opening. The very bottom of the sleeve is missing. Inscribed on sleeve: IK/324. There is a label, lettered in gold, laid down on the front of the sleeve that reads: Is BRITANNIQ/ENVIRONS/ DE LONDRES There is also a label laid down on the spine of the sleeve that is inscribed: Angleterre/carte generale/ Environs/De/Londres/4 feuilles. 7 1/4 x 5 3/4 x 1 1/4 inches.

A later corrected draft containing a narrative of events in the French army from July 15-August 15, 1781, as well as a copy of the "Journal des Operations." It was on the 21st-23rd July that the French-American forces undertook operations against Kingsbridge, Morrisania and Throg's Neck. Recorded also are forays into the "no man's land" of Westchester (New Rochelle, Rye, Mamaroneck, Williamsbridge), a bombardment of Tarrytown, etc.
