Series II contains little information on Brewster's years as a Yale undergraduate and the months after graduation prior to his enlistment. The Pre-Military subseries, however, includes a copy of his Yale College senior essay. His 1941 class oration and several other speeches he gave while a Yale student, can be found in the Speeches files in Series IV. The Harvard, Economic Cooperation Association (ECA), and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) subseries includes only scattered materials on the ECA and MIT; some MIT materials are also found in Harvard files. The subseries, however, incudes interesting materials, although limited in number, of Brewster's work towards establishing a world government organization. The Organizations and Family subseries document the more personal and social lives of the Brewster family.
