The collection includes copies of her own works, as well as the work of various other authors. In addition to the text materials in the collection there are numerous audio and video tapes of many well known figures discussing various topics related to children's literature, including James Marshall, Maurice Sendak, and others who presented in Butler's "kiddie lit" classes.
