This series contains an estate inventory, journals, poems, sermons, and theological papers written by Reverend Jeremiah Day from 1759-1804, and includes other family papers from later dates. Jeremiah Day's sermons date from 1759-1804, and his theological papers include student papers written at Yale University in the 1750s.

This series consists of account books, diaries, journals, lecture notebooks, manuscripts of books, sermons, and other papers of Reverend Jeremiah Day dating from 1797-1838. This series consists of correspondence, student papers and materials, notes, records, speeches, and other items documenting Day's academic career and presidency of Yale University (1817-1846).
