A fisherman in a green robe with a white kerchief on his head sits on a yellow mat on a roofed wooden platform in the water near the shore. Posts around this dock form a fence to trap the fish, which he captures in a small yellow net made of reeds. His small rowboat is tied to the dock. Two trees on the shoreline are in the background. The image includes a text in the upper right corner as well as a calligraphic inscription and stamp along the right edge. "Kuni Y[i]shi" is inscribed in pencil on the verso.
