The Angus MacLise Sound Recordings document selected musical work of Angus MacLise. The sound recordings are 5 and 7.5 inch reel-to-reel audio tapes that consist of experimental music composed and performed by MacLise in solo performances and in collaboration with other musicians and artists. The recordings span the years 1965 to 1978.

The papers feature correspondence and personal effects relating to author Edith Wharton, including over 130 letters to Bahlmann from Wharton, dating from Bahlmann's employment to the Wharton family in 1874, as Edith's German language tutor, to 1915. The letters document a significant, long-standing relationship and shed light on Wharton's personal and literary affairs. In addition to the Wharton correspondence, there are single and small groups of letters between Bahlmann and family members, friends, and acquaintances, including William Morton Fullerton and Henry James, and a small number of third-party letters. Bahlmann's personal effects include legal and financial documents, notebooks, and writings, as well as material relating to Wharton. Other materials relating most directly to Wharton include clippings, documents on her work during the war, photographs, and postcards. Photographs consist of studio portraits of people and images of Wharton's residences. There are photographs of Wharton, Bahlmann family members, and friends, including Mary Cadwalader Jones. Wharton residences include "Reef Point" in Bar Harbour, Maine and the estate ("The Mount") in Lenox, Massachusetts.

Contains photographs, writings, and printed material documenting the work of Anne Brigman. Included among the papers are four paste-up copies of Brigman's book of photography and poetry, Songs of a Pagan and one paste-up copy of her second book, Wild Flute Songs. The papers also contain early typescript drafts of Songs of a Pagan, clippings on Brigman, exhibition notices and flier, and other printed material.

The Annie Dillard Papers document the work and life of writer Annie Dillard. The papers consist of personal and professional correspondence, drafts of writings, notebooks and diaries, teaching materials, drawings, photographs, printed materials, audiovisual materials, computer disks, personal effects, and personal papers. The bulk of the collection consists of Dillard's writings and correspondence.

Correspondence, writings, printed ephemera, and photographs related to Annie Schletter and her family. Correspondence consists of letters to Annie Schletter, Pauline Schletter, Percy Schletter, and others, including Adrian Boult and Rosetta Phillips. Letters to Annie Schletter, many brief notes, largely relate to theater in London. Her correspondents include Margot Asquith, Adrian Boult, Ernest Coquelin, F. Paolo Tosti, Oscar Wilde, and Charles Wyndham. Correspondence also includes two letters from Georgina Weldon to Pauline Schletter, one written from Halloway Gaol and another enclosing 12 photographs taken in South Africa.
Writings include several manuscript poems addressed to Rosetta Phillips, a typescript poem, "National Rat Week," by Osbert Sitwell, and a typescript essay by Margot Asquith describing a visit to Spain. Printed ephemera includes theater programs for performances at the Reform Club, Savoy Theatre, Windsor Castle, and other venues, as well as an invitation and prayer from "Her Majesty's Jubilee Thanksgiving Service." Photographs include portraits of Anthony Asquith, H. H. Asquith, Margot Asquith, Pamela Lytton, and F. Paolo Tosti.

The Ann Lauterbach Papers document the personal and professional life of American poet Ann Lauterbach and consist of correspondence, writings, printed material, and audiovisual material. The papers contain a number of drafts of Lauterbach's writings from early in her career until roughly 2000. Her correspondence reflects her intellectual circle with correspondents including writers and artists: Stacy Doris, Kenward Gray Elmslie, Richard Hamilton, Susan Howe, Garrett Kalleberg, Ron Padgett, Peter Straub, Marjorie Welish, and Chet Wiener. The papers also contain material relating to Lauterbach's family members including her father, war correspondent Richard Lauterbach.

The records consist of correspondence, documents, account books, case files, financial papers, and printed material which document one of the earliest Texas land companies. The correspondence concerns the company's business, dealing with agents, and receiving reports from Texas, Mexico City, and various places in Europe. Principal correspondents include John T. Mason, William H. Sumner, Jonathan Turnbull, G. H. Paulsen, and William S. Allen. Other papers in the collection include copies of grants, agreeements with agents, papers relating to court cases, highly detailed account books, printed scrip, and a small amount of printed material including newspapers, broadsides, and pamphlets.

A collection of approximately 400 manuscript items, including letters; letterbooks; copies of statutes, pleadings, opinions and precedents; King's Bench reports; abridgments and commonplace books of cases; and other papers, documenting the development and practice of English law and the evolution of the English legal system from the thirteenth into the twentieth century. Included are an early copy of Henry de Bracton's De legibus Anglie; a fourteenth-century pocket compilation of "Statuta vetera" that opens with a copy of the Magna Carta; case reports from the sixteenth through the nineteenth centuries; letters, opinions and notes by a range of English legal figures, including William Blackstone, Edward Coke, Edward Law, Lord Thurlow, and Francis Wedderburn; and guides to court proceedings and practice from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

The collection consists of six autograph manuscript novels or parts of novels, notes, notebooks, and two letters by Anthony Trollope.
