Artwork includes examples of visual poetry and collage. Correspondence includes letters, postcards, and telegrams from other Italian poets, artists, and organizations. Printed material includes clippings and exhibition catalogs, pamphlets and ephemera. Photographs consist of negatives and slides.

The collection consists of correspondence, photographs, printed material, and audiovisual materials documenting the lives of Lance Loud and the Loud family. Lance Loud papers consist of correspondence, personal papers, personal objects including Loud's professional and personal contact files, clippings, and other papers and include materials relating to his band The Mumps. Loud family papers document their involvement in the television documentary An American Family, its reception and subsequent followups, and the 2011 television movie Cinema Verite based on the series. Photographs consist of family pictures. Audiovisual materials include home videos, tributes to Lance Loud, audiorecordings of The Mumps, and videorecordings of television programs related to An American Family.

Land of Zenj photograph collection, 1869-2006, bulk 1869-1937 18.85 Linear Feet

The collection, assembled by the rare book dealers Jenny Allsworth and Humphrey Winterton, brings together photographs, photograph albums, glass lantern slides, and a lantern projector, which document the Sultanate of Zanzibar and European colonial expansion in East and Central Africa from 1870 to 1914. Also documented are early Arab and Portuguese coastal settlements at Kilwa, Mafia, Pemba, Sofala, and Zanzibar. The collection also represents the work of certain photographers who operated in different parts of the region, including C. Vicente of Dar es Salaam, Coutinho Brothers of Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam, P. De Lord Brothers of Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam, Walther Dobbertin, and A. C. Gomes & Co. of Zanzibar, among others.

Landor, Walter Savage, 1775-1864
The papers contain correspondence and other manuscripts principally relating to the financial and familial troubles of Landor's last years. Letters from his niece Elizabeth Sophia Landor to Robert Browning discuss Landor's affairs in detail and Browning's attempts to assist his friend in Florence; Landor's letters to his children Walter, Julia and Charles present his view of the family's struggles. Other correspondents include his friend and admirer Rose Paynter; Richard Monckton Milnes; and Luizinha O'Donnell.
The collection also contains approximately 300 manuscript fragments by Landor, including drafts of letters, short poems, statements concerning his legal affairs, and memoranda.

The Langston Hughes Collection consists of correspondence, writings, photographs, sound recordings, video recordings, electronic files, and other material documenting the life, work, and remembrance of Langston Hughes.
Series I, Josephine DeWitt Rhodehamel Gift, is organized into three subseries: Letters from Langston Hughes, Writings of Langston Hughes and Writings of Others. There are letters to Rhodehamel and holograph and typescript versions of poems for Dear Lovely Death.
Series II, Material from Other Sources, is organized into four subseries: Correspondence, Photographs, Audiovisual Materials, and Electronic Files. There are groups of letters to Arna Bontemps, Harold Jackman, Arthur Spingarn, Nathaniel White and others. Audiovisual material consists of commercial recordings of Langston Hughes's work, as well as video recordings of two sessions from Yale University's "Langston Hughes and His World" conference in February 2002. Electronic files include preliminary and final versions of the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library's online exhibition, "Langston Hughes at 100."

Collection contains materials collected by Lansing V. Hammond documenting the life and career of Hugh Thomson, including correspondence, writings, artwork and other papers. Correspondence includes originals and copies of letters by Thomson, as well as correspondence of M. H. Spielmann, friend and co-author with Walter Jerrold of the Thomson biography entitled Hugh Thomson, His Art, His Letters, His Humor and His Charm, with Thomson's widow Jessie Naismith Miller Thomson, Walter Jerrold and others. Writings include research notes, drafts, proofs and other materials related to Spielmann's biography of Thomson. Artwork contains many original drawings and watercolors by Thomson, some copies and photographs of his works, and drawings by C. E. Brock and H. M. Brock. Other papers include clippings, catalogs of exhibitions, printed material, sales catalogs and other material related to Thomson.

The collection consists of material created and accumulated by Larry Fagin, stemming from his individual and collaborative work as a poet and editor, and, as well as his work as a teacher, filmmaker, artist, choreographer, and journalist. It also documents his personal and working relationships with other poets and writers associated with the New York School. Material includes correspondence, printed material, typescripts of poems, essays, translations, and film scripts, publicity material for readings, lectures, and publications, interview transcripts, teaching files, collages, an 8 mm motion picture, and other material. The bulk of the collection consists of files compiled by Fagin according to correspondent and/or subject, including extensive files for Glen Baxter, Bill Berkson, Jack Collom, Clark Coolidge, Michael Friedman, John Godfrey, Naropa Institute, Ron Padgett, Poetry Project at St. Mark's, Judith Reifman, and Anne Waldman, among others.

The Larry Goodell Papers, which span from 1954 to 2016, contain correspondence, writings, business records, posters, audiovisual materials, electronic media, printed material, and other papers by or related to Larry Goodell and Duende Press. The papers contain writings of Larry Goodell as well as correspondence, poetry, and other writings from many poets with whom Goodell had personal relationships or business connections through Duende Press. The records of Duende Press document business dealings between 1968 and 2008, primarily in the form of writings submitted to the press from a variety of poets. Photographs and audiovisual materials,spanning 1968 to 2013, make up the smallest portion of the collection and primarily document poetry readings and performances by Goodell and other regional poets from the Southwestern United States.
