Contains a script for the Karel Reisz-directed 1978 film (eventually released under the title "Who'll Stop the Rain) starring Nick Nolte, Tuesday Weld, and Michael Moriarty. Adapted from the Robert Stone novel, this screenplay was written by Judith Rascoe and concerns an American merchant seaman who becomes involved in a plot to smuggle herion into northern California. This film is exemplay of the New American Cinema movement of the 1970s, and portrays elements of California counter culture. Also included here are fourteen black and white photos from the movie.
