Biographical / Historical

William Devlin has been an adjunct professor at WCSU and was an active member of the Danbury Preservation Trust. He wrote "We Crown Them All", a comprehensive illustrated history Danbury and co-authored, with Herb Janick, "Danbury's 3rd Century" - a narrative history of Danbury since 1889. Devlin, now retired, was for many years a social studies teacher at Darien High School, in addition to teaching at WestConn. For around 30 years, Devlin also produced many feature articles for The News-Times, mainly on local historical topics, and compiled The News-Times column "Do You Remember," beginning in 1981.
