Originally part of the Truman Warner Papers, MS 026. Lockwood, Edward-Civil War Letters (copies) | 1862-1865 Box: 26 Folder: 89-90. Perhaps of the 1st Regiment, New York Light Artillery. Letter complains about freeing enslaved persons, fighting to end slavery, Hooker's command, and men remaining at home.
