Housatonic Valley, 1950-1996

Articles focus on industrial pollution and the Housatonic River Study under the Wild and Scenic River Act of the 50-mile stretch from the Massachusetts border to the confluence with the Shepaug River. Current problems concern land and recreation uses of the Housatonic particularly landowners' riparian and water control rights/easements.
