General note
Articles refer to the Danbury Grange, its history, activities, and celebrations. Some photos/articles of the Connecticut Grange Celebrations held at the University of Connecticut in 1960 and the history of the National Grange Order from the Civil War to current years. Also, some articles explore the shifting emphasis from farm to environmental issues with the development of Co-operative Extension Services and Agricultural Experiment Stations. New focus on suburban gardening. "Farm markets" and home economics, rather than farming, reflect Connecticut's urbanization. See also: Farming
