Materials include newspaper clippings, annotated articles, concert and show programs, and magazines. Subjects include Broadway shows and recordings, classical recordings and concerts, feature articles on Tom Shepard and RCA, and articles on the recording market.

Primarily copies of industry magazines and publications, including issues of Billboard, Record World, The New York Times, Cash Box, and others. Files contain some single-page clippings and concert programs, as well.

Files contain both personal correspondence (greeting cards, etc.) and business correspondence. Correspondents include Stephen Sondheim, associates from EMI Classics, and many other close friends and colleagues from across the recording industry.
