The Klein Memorial Auditorium is a 1,447 seat theater with a Broadway sized stage that currently houses four resident companies. Since it was completed in 1940, the Klein Memorial Auditorium has hosted orchestras, speakers like Martin Luther King. Jr., public events, rentals, and many, many more performances. This collection represents a very small portion of the Klein's history.
This collection of sermons were found in the Bridgeport History Center. It features handwritten sermons of several unknown individuals, likely Congregtional ministers. Research is ongoing.

A veteran of the Civil War, Truman Parsons lived the second half of his life in Stratford, Connecticut and was a heavily active member of the Grand Army of the Republic, Elias Howe Post No. 3 in Bridgeport. This collection documents Parson's G.A.R. participation and the end of his life in Fairfield County.
Maplewood Junior High School began its life in 1893 as an elementary school to replace the Old South Schoolhouse. It was constructed to meet the needs of a rapidly growing population at the end of the 19th Century, and acts as a microcosm of changes in the Bridgeport educational system from the 1890s to 1984.
This small collection contains samples of the work that the Lake Torpedo Boat Company completed around 1922. This includes a patent for a hydroplane mechanism, made by William Kolvig, along with some sample data.
William T. Cole Jr. in development for the Remington Arms Company from some time in the 1940s into the 1970s or 80s. The collection features some of his work with chemical lighting, along with documents relating to Remington's structure, telephone directory, and some employee photographs.
During the second World War, the United States government issued war bonds to help fund war efforts. The material in the collection contains both the organizational information for the sale of war bonds , as well as how the bonds were promoted locally within Bridgeport.
This artificial collection contains various World War II materials that primarily focus on civilian action defending the home front. This includes material related to the Bridgeport War Council and actions of the Civilian Defense Warning Center, but also photographs and scrapbooks relating to these activities. There is some correspondence from Bridgeport Post staff serving overseas, as well as other information and documentation relating to the local community in the second World War.

During World War I, Bridgeport's many industries helped supply the war effort. Residents also participated in events such as war bond drives and created organizations to support servicemembers from the city. This artificial collection represents the latter, and includes some of the material of the Minute Women, along with material relating to the Red Cross and other organizations, as well as newspaper clippings.
