Edwin Elliott Calverley, professor of Arabic and Islamic studies at Hartford Theological Foundaton from 1930 - 1965, had previously served as a missionary in Kuwait with his wife, Dr. Eleanor Taylor Calverley. His papers were processed in the mid 1970's, and remaining papers were processed fifty years later in 2024.
