Probate records for the estate of Amelia Ogden, heir to the Tapping Reeve house including contracts for the sale of the house from Ogden to Lewis B. Woodruff. Despite the sale, Ogden was permitted to live in the house until her death. Folder contains some transcriptions.

Painter, Alexis, circa 1817

Alexis Painter (1794-1867) was a student at the Litchfield Law School in 1817. His one volume of law lecture notes from classes of Tapping Reeve and James Gould includes various topics including Contracts, Bailments, Covenant Broken, and Evidence, and includes an index.
