The Correspondence represents Goddard Lieberson's day-to-day activities as a record producer during his time at Columbia (c. 1939-1975). The series is organized into three subseries: Lettered Correspondence, Correspondence by Subject, and Correspondence by Date. The primary reason for these divisions is the organization of the material upon donation.
