Fundraising

The United States was involved in World War One long? before its official entrance declaration. The US set up countless charity foundations and fundraising events, and raised awareness about foreign aid. America extended its helping hand to many of its allies including: Serbia, France, Great Britain, Poland, Belgium and  Montenegro. Aid could be anything from money to food to clothing and even volunteers. The majority of this foreign aid originated from member of the general public in America. Once the US entered the war, the public found a way to support their troops without actually being there: war bonds.
