Jacob Krapowicz landscapes two
These paintings are beautifully composed especially because of their simplicity. In the first artwork, Krapowicz depicts a simple wood barrel, creating the illusion of a snowstorm. On the other hand, tonal gradations of grey and white filled the houses in the pier with snow, but they are not sharply delineated. Due to that, they create the effect of a massive snowstorm. In conclusion, one might say that these pieces reflect Karpowicz's affection for New England.
