A Lasting Friendship...

Inscribed to Al and Colleen Stewart, 1961. "For Lasting Friendship..."

The inscription provides proof that Al and Colleen Stewart were in Mexico City in the early 1960s and mixing with local artists. Colleen painted as a hobby. It is likely that this visit to Mexico City was what led to the Stewart's interest in other Mexican artists. Raskob had a studio in Mexico City at the time. The six sketches are faces at various stages of completion. The top sketch appears to be of a young child's face.
