The Union Congregational Church of Rockville, Connecticut was established in 1888 when the First Church (established in 1837) and the sSecond Church (established in 1849) voted to unite. The building of the Second Church had been destroyed by fire in April, 1888, while the town of Vernon wished to acquire the site of the First Church building for a Memrial Town Hall. 
This volume includes a history of the church's first ten years as well as information on the parish rules and orgaizations and a catalog of membership as of 1899.
