Second Congregational Church (South Windsor, Conn.)

The church was established in 1699 by Connecticut's General Assembly as "The Second Eccliastical Society of Windsor" as an expansion of the original settlement of Windsor. Several separations of the Windsor area into separate towns resulted in the eventual and current designation of the church as the First Congregational Church of South Windsor.
