0-10 Min: 1967 graduate from WCSU with a B.S. in education; assistant. house director of Fairfield Hall; Litchfield Hall was opened in 1964; which was not completed at the time; students were not allowed in Litchfield hall from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm due to continued construction; Newbury Hall opened in 1970 first co-ed dorm;
10-20 Min: alumni totaled around 8500 people in 1976; male students were attending as early as 1908 and 1910;
20-30 Min: how the alumni board operates, when they meet, who is present at the meetings, what they discuss etc.; West Side campus and what departments will be located on which campus;
30-40 Min: White Hall origins; scholarships that the alumni association funds; such as the May Sherwood scholarship awarded to students who are in financial need and have shown healthy academic and social life on campus; Dr. Theodore Toporowski instructor from 1965-1968 scholarship; Perkins memorial fund, small loan fund for up to $200 with a 6 month no interest payment plan;
40-50 Min: Perkins memorial fund is kept alive by donations; Higgins library fund, and how it worked to fund the library; WestConn foundations, who makes up the board, general goals, process etc; setup to keep any surplus funds rather than go back to the state general fund; the alumni association funded the establishment of the Westconn Foundation;
50-60 Min: strong community ties WCSU;
